The counselor's family is excited as Azhagar's sister's results are arriving the next day. Andal's father scolds Andal and asks her to dress properly. Azhagar's father tells Andal's father that his name will go away once his daughter earns the name as collector.
அழகரின் அக்காவின் படிப்பு முடிவு மறுநாள் வருவதால் அனைவரும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆண்டாளின் அப்பா ஆண்டாளை ஒழுங்காக உடை அணிய கூறி திட்டுகிறார். அழகரின் அப்பா ஆண்டாளின் அப்பாவிடம் அவரது மகளால் வெற்றி பெறுவேன் என்று கூறுகிறார்.
